The Day After The Storm

I stopped to talk to a neighbor on the way to the market. He complimented my new car and said, “all wheel drive?”.   I responded, “why”.  He said because of this. 

I reminded him that you could ride a bicycle on the roads.  Why would anyone want or need all wheel drive?

I did notice all the neighbors clearing their driveways, cleaning off the cars and the town, plowing and sanding the roads.  We are a culture of cars.  We give up everything for our cars.  That’s a post for another day. For now, it’s all about the dogs.
