BRRRRR

It was 28F, sunny and calm when I left the house at 7:30 AM, for the eleven mile bike to the cardiologist.  I had to “beat feet” to make it to the bridge and avoid the delay of the opening.

We used to be able to slip under the barrier until the state blocked us with the stripped and do not enter signs. Today I did manage to cross before the bridge closes with a couple of minutes to spare.

The expected morning commute traffic never happened giving me a clear shot through the city.  There was some traffic on the back road behind the New Bedford, MA regional airport, but I was too distracted by nature to pay that any mind.
